Drawing class

I may have changed my mind from Graphic Design to actually going into Studio Arts. I just don't know how I feel about being in front of a computer screen all the time. Plus, I love everything about the fine arts. I just...have to go with what I love. Here are the two final drawings I had for my drawing class. Again...they are photos so the quality is not the best.

First up is my stipple drawing that took me about 50 hours to complete. It was worth it if I do say so myself.

Next up is my color harmony drawing. We had to make a sort of abstract collage from magazine cutouts and then duplicate the magazine collage using colored pencil on a separate sheet. I am also really happy with how this turned out.

Top one is magazine cutout, bottom is the colored pencil.

  1. your stipple typewriter is incredible!

And I completely agree about going with what you love, for the record. You will be happier and it will be easier for you to be good at what you are doing each day, because you won't have to convince yourself that you want to. Studio arts! Studio arts!
