Monochromatic drawing

So, we are working on a monochromatic drawing in my drawing class right now and I am enjoying it pretty well. It is nice to work with color as it is not something I have done a lot of. Here are some images of my preliminary color scales and color study, and then a few of my final drawing as a work in progress.

I am also submitting two of my pieces to hopefully be chosen for a juried show at the Memorial Union. LINK for info!! I don't really have high expectations for anything to be accepted, but it doesn't hurt anything to try. Except my wallet because framing stuff is PRICEY! Also, just as an FYI, don't buy your plexiglass at Hobby Lobby. Lowe's is a third of the price.

  1. Love the color palette on that last one. Works with the paper really well. The blurriness of the full-size picture is a bit of an injustice. Good luck with the show; let us know if you get picked!
